"The Intel was good. Deep in the basement of some warehouse on the outskirts of a rundown city, lay a treasure-trove of old synthex documents. It was clear that most of the good stuff had been taken during their downfall, but scraps remained for those who were keen enough to dig through the mess. One such group or criminals was of interest to Jayla. They had found some notes on making mutants and had started their own mutant-mercenary black market. Jayla was determined to bring them down. Looking about, a small scrunched up piece of paper caught her eye. Unraveling the paper, it became clear it was some notes on some mutant formula. Fingerprints were visible on the edges, having pushed away much of the dust and grime that covered everything. "Fresh prints..." Jayla remarked as a smirk grew across her face. "Just what I needed." ..."
