Modern times call for modern styles. The mystical, the majestic, they may still have to adapt.

For example, conveying what they're about visually is very important. The trickster may want to make it obvious that they're here to please you, but in a way that you should be able to tell really means they're here for themselves alone.

Hence the style of the humble ecdysiast, writ large in the stars by the gods and the greater.

Cough. Okay, so MAYBE I made all that up and what actually happened was Oratorio was so used to just changing his costume magically that he got the two meanings of 'stripping' confused; but it just makes it so much more fun, y'know?
