the hope is that drawing my starter will make me enjoy playing 'em more. I just don't like the options all that much! sorry, starters!

For example, the AI seeking out items (when in the basic mode), the dozens of more powerful Emeras (Type Bulldozer makes everything chocolatier) and the extremely un-thought out quests. Salamence is a total jerkbag, and he's like, elvel 50. Don;t fight him, just ignore that dungeon. XD
... Also yeah the storyline usually makes your brain need some bleach or something. They don't have talented writers, it seems.
Yeah, I know how you feel there. Do you remember by any chance the Banjo-Kazooie game for the Xbox? The one that nobody liked, but had like a zillion and a half references to the games that were actually good? This one has those references- groups from prior games popping up again like a little "Hey! Remember me?" type thing. Compared to other plots, this one's full of the "if anyone actually bothered to communicate with each other, so many problems would not happen" trope.
Texture so good. You're doing a lot of little things here and there and that's excellent; I might like the vector cel-shading look from you best but don't ever stop doing little different things just because.
There's no Absol starting option in SMD, is there. I doubt there is. Worst game would dunk in trash. ♥

I picked Treecko, hoping to get a decently-timed Leaf Blade, because that was actually a THING back in some older generations, but nope! No more leaf blade Treecko. Might be remembering wrong, but... yeah. At least there are several cute mechanics in the game!
