For day 9 of Jurassic June we have Baryonyx. I distinctly remember reading about this dinosaur in the 90s book Hunting Dinosaurs, it's unique skull and hooked claws fascinating me...here is an article about spinosaurids by Scott Hartman: http://www.skeletaldrawing.com/home/super-spinosaurus6282013

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun making this one, it reminded me of my recent visit to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and a visit with my friend Emily Willoughby. Great blue herons were all over the place this year, and they are one of my favorite birds. I often think of Baryonyx being like them, standing over the mudflats, then striking a fish that swam by! :>

Ahhh, one of my favorite dinos!!! I about screamed in joy when there was one in the last Jurassic World movie...but yours is far more likely accurate as that franchise seems to abhor feathers. This is great, nice job!!!
