Probably one of the most extremely detailed pieces I've ever created yet, this inspired digital painting creates a story of travel and a young friendship between my persona and a brightly colored dragoness. The landscape setting gives the interpretation of a lowland travel through a valley (if I had made the canvas size somewhat bigger I would have included a stream). The action and expression within the painting associates with the title I chose.

Total time: 16hrs 19mins (painting:- yes) (speed painting:- No)
I'm quite pleased with how it came out, it's truly the best digital piece I've done yet.
The hair, wings and feather detail took up the majority of the time, the landscape detail was a difficult part to figure out and therefore I studied some tutorials for a bit

Inspired by Shinerai and her amazing work on DeviantArt

This is very well done how the background places you in another world and how you fit these two characters into this world so very different yet so relatable well done (that's guys like :don't eat me:) and the griffin is so beautyful in the colors used and the way she is looking at the boy is so cool in how we all ask questions to people we don't know. I suspect it is a girl by the pose, her eyes, and hand position. how you got two things in the focus point (perfection). If you don't mind me saying. ^_^ It is a diamond in a mine of coal.

Thank you very much for your feedback, the (dragon) is yes female, I wanted to use more outrageous colors and features like the feathers to give a brilliant feel of what an exotic creature of fantasy should look like.
I'm also really trying to capture more realistic forms of posture facial expressions.

Again thank you for your critique I always appreciate good lively comments.

Sorry I thought because of the fetters on the head and wings it would be a griffon people think of dragons with scales
But good job changing it up
        ^_^ +A
