Yeahh, thanks for pointing that out! Usually I don't mind too much how many colors I'm using, since I'm not too much of a purist in that sense, but the shades of tan definitely took up a good 80% of my palette this time around. Something I'll keep in mind next time around!

the sand is really great! A+ job on the animation and pixel work. Though, one thing, a few of the shades of the sand color are REALLY close to each other, in that it's hard to tell the difference or that theyre even darker or lighter. using higher contrast or limiting the number of shades of a color in pixel art is very beneficial to it, I think
