CHARACTER FUSIONS??!? OH HO HO WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING? I mean, what else does fictional science do anymore, right? But here's the pickle: I've lost the original test subjects. Who were they? That's YOUR job to figure out!

...Why? Because I'm done and I want to go home for the day. It took all my energy just to herd everyone into the lecture hall and get a panorama shot. Besides, doesn't everyone crowdsource their science now? Something something innovate in the cloud?

IT'S A CONTEST AND HERE ARE THE DETAILS!

Situation: This contest is the experiment I was talking about here. Out of all the requests, I chose five characters and fused them in pairs in every possible way to create the ten fusions you see in the picture. (If the originals were labeled A,B,C,D,E, the fusions shown are AB, AC, AD, AE, BC, BD, BE, CD, CE, DE, in no particular order.)

Goal: Your goal is to reconstruct the original five characters visually (no writing) as closely as possible. Color is required. You don't have to know the exact character or who it belongs to, but if you do, that's a bonus! Also, note that fusions are not necessarily exact middles between the fused subjects; some features are less pronounced or dropped entirely.

Who can participate: Everyone except for the creators of the original five. (If I didn't send you a note saying yours was chosen, it wasn't, and you're okay to try the contest.)

How to enter: Send me a note containing your entry. You can do this on DeviantArt, Furaffinity, Weasyl or Tumblr. You might want to wait until the deadline to upload it publicly, you don't want to give hints to anyone else.

Criteria: Pictures will be judged by accuracy and creativity. Accuracy: How closely your subjects approximate the original characters. (Artistic skill is tied up in this.) Creativity: Have some fun with the presentation! Also, all entries must be SFW.

Prize: One full color commission as seen here. We need at least five entries in order for a prize to be awarded. Don't be afraid to enter! I'm really excited to see what everyone comes up with!
