Somehow the deer here don't eat up my garden, I have no idea why. This year though, the heat has just decimated everything. No rain, intense heat... the most I've gotten out of what I've planted are some cucumbers, tomatoes, and a few zucchini. Some okra is growing, but the heat is drying it out so fast it's just gross. I'll be saving the seeds from them for next year, I guess.

But maybe some furry things eat tomatoes?! Honestly I can't think of any right off the top of my head x_x
Man I want some big tomatoes like that. I think I need to fertilize/compost/get better soil somehow! Though I have tons of cherry tomatoes. My bigger ones aren't doing too good though

Now those are some heirloom tomatoes. (Everyone here kind of gave up on trying to grow vegetables, the deer simply eat everything. I think a handful of daylilies survived this year, but I went quite a few years without seeing any because the buds got browsed off by the prancing hordes.)
