Collegiate Backgammon [Part II] by Hajinn

Collegiate Backgammon [Part II]

Hajinn

Ever wonder where the term ‘turn the tables’ come from? It’s actually rather simple. Table games like Backgammon held a tradition where the loser would play from the former victor’s position. More often than not, this led to an upset – ending in a win for the previous underdog. That evolved into an idiom used when a disadvantaged party in an altercation now has the upper hand. Now the title should make a bit more sense to you!

Now, Vausch and I have our disagreements here and there regarding things from spirituality to modus operandi – as most acquaintances do, but when it comes down to the wire, we make a formidable duo. It’s a shame these fraternity schmucks didn’t perform a background check. They could have avoided being turned into afterthoughts. Ah well, live and learn. Who knows, maybe they’ll change their ways once they’ve been restored? Doubtful, but I have confidence that this level of bodily horror will act as their variant of ‘Scared Sh*tless’.
