Perilous Aspirations [Vignette]

Hajinn

“How dare you restrict my aspirations, you charlatan! Look there! Can you not see them? Do you focus on only the walls that confine or can you look to the skies? Therein lies the indisputable truth of dreams! People have this disgusting misconception that dreams are but translucent bubbles – brilliant, but transient and fragile. As soon as it’s realized, it progressively fades before it erupts upon itself! How lamentable is this comparison, do you think? I believe it’s worthy of a reprimand, myself! Insulting dreams by giving them such a pathetic association when ambitions are clouds! Eugh, wipe that dumbfounded look off your face and open the eyes God bestowed upon you! They hover far overhead, weaving arabesques upon the matte cerulean or on the auspicious auburn. They congregate and thunder with enthusiasm and the rain they yield is the idea coming to fruition! Yes, yes – some fade from sight, but are you truly that ignorant to think that just because you can’t see something means it does not exist? Oh ho! I know that condescending look! ‘I’m just a religious sod and you’re so much better because faith doesn’t impede your judgment’! Even from a scientific standpoint, they exist. They accumulate. They’re never completely gone. They're reformation is ever flowing, ever cyclic. That’s why dreams aren’t iridescent spheres, forgotten once fallen. Can you see now? Can you? Or are you still blind and dumb?”

Picture taken in Barcelona!

And, of course, the vignette's something I felt would extenuate the photo I took. =3c
