Lightning Luke and his partner in crime, Ned Eastwood, were two infamous outlaws in the Wild West era. One day, the duo stumbled onto a cave, so they can hide from the law. Little did they know that this cave belonged to a Tsuchigumo woman of the brown recluse clan. After the Tsuchigumo bit Luke, Ned shot the feminine creature and they took off. After a while, the venom started to kick in, and Lightning Luke was partially liquified and near death, however, Ned was reluctant to put Luke out of his misery. There, Mist came to Luke, ended his suffering and made him one of her lesser Einheriars.
