A scene from a fan made Legend of Zelda romhack, known as Shin Zelda Densetsu (aka. The New Legend of Zelda).

In this ROM hack, you get to play as Zelda instead of Link, and you have to bring back the eight triforce pieces in order to slay Gannon. The dungeons and world map are completely new and re-done, some items you find in dungeons instead of shops, and of course, some items are more pricey than in the original game.

I do recommend this fan game. It's very fun.
