That stressful moment, I was wishing the ground swallowed me. “Mom?” I shouted, when I did it, my voice was really different… “Groove, are you OK? I heard you really weird, are you ill, maybe?” She said. I feared the worst, maybe she was going up to the stairs… I was really worried, mom couldn’t see me such, and I would fright her when she saw me. So, I had to close me in the bathroom. I was really tall, I couldn’t fit there… I had to crouch down a bit, even. My neck was hurting. “Yes, mom… Just I’m a bit hoarse, I sang too much this week. He, he…” My laughing was nervous… I wondered how my mom was coming up to me, I felt her so near of me. But, a voice in my mind said it: “calm down, Groove. You are saved; this secret is that, just a secret… Nobody will discover it”. It was my conscience…

Suddenly, my mom silenced. When I couldn’t hear to her anymore, I opened the bathroom’s door and slowly I get out of there, up to my room and I closed the door. Then, I replied her: “sorry, I will go down in a while, let me I recover my health, please”. A gently laughing sounded. “OK, I will keep your breakfast in the fridge. Right now I gotta go to work… Rest then; see you in the night, honey”. Mom got out of home. The door closed and when I didn’t hear any sound in the kitchen, I opened the door of my room and I got out of there. I had to shrink me a little because my head touched the ceiling… I went down to the stairs and then I closed some windows and curtains there. “Yikes! Mom can’t see me such! How I could return to my original form?” Auralino’s voice sounded in my mind again… “Think it; you don’t have any control over your new abilities as a Crystalgon. You need some practice. Try to think you are turning back to your human form…” I tried it. I tried, and I tried again, and one more time… I spent an hour doing that, until finally I closed my eyes, then I concentrated myself, thinking all the time in my human form. A sigh came out of my mouth… In one moment my skin left to be scaly and blue, I recovered my lacking fingers, my tail vanished, the same as my wings. Those crystals came off to my body. I said “bye-bye, spikes”, too… And my muzzle disappeared then. Finally I was recovering my human form, excepting for a little detail: my outfit.

After I went up to my room, to dress up myself, I organized my entire mess. That was the less that I could do. So, I took a bit of my cold breakfast. Something weird happened in the kitchen. When I closed the fridge, my hand was stuck to the handle. It turned frozen; there was some ice around my hand. “But, how I can eat?” I tried to unstick my hand. Bit to bit I moved hardly my arm until my hand was released. “It’s weird… Why I had ice in my hand?” Auralino answered me… “This is another side effect of your lack of control over your power. You need control it as soon as possible”.

“OK, I will try, but how I do it? This city is so normal like I can train in anywhere, bro… I can’t. I need a place where I can practice freely”. In middle of the conversation, a loud sound broke all the windows of the first floor. I ran up to the laundry room to protect me there. The crystals fell down everywhere of living room. The sound silenced itself, then, I came out from the laundry room to see the damage in the house. It was impressive, not only my house turned damaged; at least I could see three or four more around, too, like the mine. Then, I saw a weird guy; it was fleeing with unknown way. Some people was staring the disaster. I try to go out of home, to chase that being. The people asked me, “are you OK? Are you injured? How is your home? There were many damages?” I had to ignore them, because I was really interested to get him. “Look, Groove! He is one of my enemies! Get him, hurry up!” Auralino said me. I tried to run faster as I could… That being was faster than me, it looked like an athlete. “Who is him? What thing is he?” I asked to Auralino. He answered me, “he is a ‘shadowarrior’, a creature born from the Drako’s darkness core. The shadowarriors are loyal vassals of one only enemy that pretends to destroy us”. I was really worried by that answer. When I was running, the people looked at me so surprised. I tried to ignore them… A moment later, the shadowarrior got a dead alley. “I got you…” I thought. The shadowarrior was looking for an exit but it was impossible. There was no exit. “Stop! You’re caught. Why are you here? Eh?” I asked him. Suddenly, he triggered in laugh. “Hahahahahaha!!! Do you get me? You’re wrong, kid. I got you…” Vengeful, he stretched one of his hands and then he shot me a dark energy beam. I was closed to be kicked. So, Auralino spoke me. “Watch out! Jump to the wall!” He said me. I obeyed him and I jumped to the wall. I don’t know how I could do that, but I jumped so high… The shadowarrior threated me with other energy beam; he was aiming to me, now with both hands… “Auralino, I need your help, please!” I said. “This guy is so annoying; I have to defeat him as soon as possible!” I was dodging his attacks. Really he was determined to kill me, even. I was end. But, I remembered that Auralino’s advice: try to concentrate myself in… I did it; I tried to think not in my human form, but in my dragon form. While the shadowarrior was attacking to me, I dodged his hits. I had to move me quickly. Suddenly, the sky turned cloudy and there was raining in a few moments… The battle paused for a few. I was staring up to the sky… “The rain, what it means in middle of my fight?” I thought. Again, Auralino warned me. “Groove, watch out!” Too late, that attack impacted on me. I was thrown out that alley. Even I injured my arms, those were scratched a bit. All my body pained. The shadowarrior was winning us, I couldn’t reach my dragon form and Auralino couldn’t help me so much because he was just like my conscience. My strength was almost ended, my mood: stressful. I wanted to break the ground with my fingers, due to that anger inside of me. The breath boosted up. I just shouted. My voice was echoing… The rain boosted up, too. “You are dead, kiddie. I’m going to destroy you, finally!” A harmful energy orb was created in his hands. It was like a purplish lightning sphere. There was a lot of energy. I saw my end in front of my eyes until… A lightning came from the sky; it broke the ground among the shadowarrior and me. Then, unexplainably it bounced to me. “What’s happening? I feel my body is reacting right now…” That lightning didn’t injure me; instead it saved my life because the dragon power was released inside me. My body turned so strong and one more time my skin turned blue and scaly. Finally I was recovering my dragon form! The shadowarrior looked worried. I didn’t notice him such for a while until I heard him. “But, it’s impossible… You couldn’t have mastered the dragon spirit! How it’s happening?” Then, I smiled him, with a serious sight. “Because I’m the one I will stop the evilness!” I was completely transformed. I faced him again. He tried to attack me with another of those energy beams, I countered using my sharpen claws. That attack didn’t injured. But I felt my energies were turning off. “I need a clue; I have to attack him with something unstoppable…” He and I were fighting until the tiredness. The rain didn’t stop. “No matter if you are a human or a dragon… I will kill you!” The shadowarrior kicked me, harder. I had to block it with my arms… The crystals absorbed the impact. “You won’t destroy me… To defeat me you will need much support”. I knew martial arts, so I replied him with another kick. Then, a punch and later a tail punch. “Auralino, think in some attack, please… I can’t hold on this battle… Using just my physical strength...” Determined to win that fight, I punched him again. Some of his cold and purple blood spotted my hands when I fisted him. The shadowarrior was laughing. “Poor draggy… You know you can’t defeat me. I’m invincible!” He was right… I couldn’t destroy- Wait! He said he was invincible, but that didn’t mean he was indestructible. I needed a powerful attack to defeat him, completely. “Groove, you have the sapphire energy! Use the water power to defeat him!” Auralino warned me. But I didn’t know how I could use it… I tried to concentrate me, again. I was still like a stone, thinking in water. “Are you crazy? Really do you wonder you will defeat me being like a statue? Don’t make me laugh!” So, he created a bigger energy orb. Then he threw it against me… A water beam was created from the rain; it turned like a dragon-shaped stream, crashing against that energy orb. “What was that? That was impressive!” I was stunned. “Err… Are you kidding me? You can’t win me easily!” He charged another energy orb, but I reacted and then I shouted some impossible to be done for a human. “Water bomb!” An intense water stream came out from my hands, the rain mixed itself with that stream, and it injured extremely to him. An explosion happened then. His face and his entire body were scratched due to that strong impact. He just could groan… “No, you can’t… You can’t… Oh”. Some purple blitzes rounded him… Bit to bit he disappeared, leaving behind him a big spot, caused for all that blood he lost in the battle. I was tired. Then I begged myself. The rain was stopping finally.

After a while, my dragon form vanished itself. Curiously I didn’t lose my outfit (IDK). I was too wet, but happy to have won and to have saved my life. Then, I went back to home.

In my way, there were many policemen. They looked like if they was finding for someone. Unexpectedly, my mom appeared, running on to me. She hugged me tightly. “Groove! What happened with you?! I was worried for you, honey!” She said me it, crying. I just was thoughtful, even stunned after that battle. But, when my conscience returned to me completely, I hugged back to her. “Mom, don’t worry for me. Your draggy is safe, indeed”.
