Higo, Alun of Fire by FuzziMutt

Higo, Alun of Fire

FuzziMutt

Headworld stuffs. 4 of 5 of my Pantheon of demi-gods, centering around main character Soleia, the Herald of Light.

Lord Higo, Alun Fist of Fire

The middle of the five Natori-Alun, Lord Higo joined the Council after Miqua and Kaento, eager to prove himself. As a highly gifted warrior, he is renowned not only for his bravery and combat skill, but his dedication and passion for anything he seems to take on. Likely not the "brainy" type, he tends to shy away from the usual, overly political discussions of the Council, claiming that they are simply too boring to endure. He currently trains young Defenders of the Natorian Forces; and even the most elite and decorated warriors still fear and respect his austere discipline.

Higo is known for being rather controlling among the Alun... or at least overly protective. While he does respect the authority of his two seniors, he tends to try and take charge of certain situations; especially involving the two younger. For this is seen as the "big brother" of the group, often right down to being far too playful. He secretly admires Soleia's unfettered independence but understands others' concerns, preferring to remain neutral on the issue.

Higo, being an elemental of Fire, has some notably beast-like traits. His Patron Beast, or Yajato is the Ttark, a catlike carnivore, and thus his other forms (since Alun are able to take many) are associated with this clawed creature. The human legend of the Sphinx or Manticore is likely to have begun with an Alun of Fire in the past, and he is known to assume a mighty, clawed form in the heat of battle.
