Well… This time I’m posting something a bit different… Yeah, I know I’m posting it late… :)

This is a song I’ve been writing for my mother (this was her Mother’s Day gift) and that’s called Mãe Leoa (Portuguese for something like “Mother Lioness”). Well, the idea was an instrumental track with a simple percussion loop that resembles African/Brazilian music, some beautiful guitar melodies and a swing-like acoustic bass line.
I wrote this song having in mind all the sacrifices that a mother has to do and all that they do to raise their children (yes, that’s kinda an analogy of the way that the lionesses raise their cubs).

Ah, yeah… Just a side note… Maybe the bass can sound too strong (I didn’t equalize the track and, when I was recording it, I was using the earphones of my mobile phone… I really need to replace my headphones that has broken last month…)

Bem... Desta vez, estou postando algo diferente do que geralmente mostro... É, eu sei que estou postando isso atrasado… :)

Esta é uma música que estive escrevendo para minha mãe (este foi meu presente de Dia das Mães para ela) e se chama “Mãe Leoa”. Bem, a ideia foi uma música instrumental com um loop simples de percussão que lembrasse música africana/brasileira, com algumas belas melodias de guitarra e um baixo acústico “swingado”.
Quando eu estava escrevendo a música, procurei ter em mente todo o sacrifício que as mães fazem e tudo o que tem que fazer para criar seus filhos (sim, foi meio que uma analogia à forma como uma leoa cria seus filhotes).

Ah... Apenas uma observação... Talvez o baixo soe muito forte (eu não equalizei a faixa e, quando estava gravando, eu estava usando os fones de ouvido do meu celular... Eu realmente preciso trocar os headphones que quebraram no mês passado...)
