The day was typical for everyone in the Digimon Freelancer's castle. Kajimon was testing his elixirs with Alephmon, Nekozukimon was training with Leomon, Kuromon was doing blacksmithing work with Ember, and more. Everything went on peacefully.

Until the Core underneath the Old Throne started to meltdown.

Ooooooh, boy. This story was a pain in a half to finish. Part of that was because this story grew longer than I expected, and then I suffered from a nasty cold after I did the rough draft. It took a couple of weeks until I got over it for the most part.

Hopefully, I'll catch up by doing a couple of shorter stories. Maybe.
