We're finally introduced to Mel! He's a friendly, ambitious elf, who's usually the one that gets Noel and himself into trouble. I wonder what his current idea is...

I really feel like I'm getting the hang of drawing Noel, these are some of my favorite drawings of him so far. ❤

Mel's a new character I've wanted to show for a while, he's vaguely inspired by quite a few things: The Rider from Furi, the elf dentist guy from the claymation Rudolph, and even the elf from Holiday by Lil Nas X (yes, I know, it's goofy, lol). He's darker skinned than an elf traditionally is, but you know what? I like that. Makes him more unique! That and part of my head canon for elfs is that they originate from various places on the globe, so of course they'd be more ethnically diverse than usually depicted.

I swear I have a now multi-paged document on the elfs alone, lol. I hint at some of the goofy lore on this page, as you can see. XD
