At some point while doing all of these pokemon, I ended up basing them more closely off their real-life counter parts.
Sandslash would be a pangolin. The description for Sandslash states that they are covered in quills. Those are obviously armor plates.
I think this one is my favorite out of the whole lot of them. I seriously adore pangolins.
