Yesss... they totally ruined the sequels. But the first one was amazing (I was in love with Atreyu when I was young <3). And have you read the book? It's good too. And Bastian in the book is tubby! :)

I'm afraid I haven't been able to find the book, I have looked for it though :(. Sounds like a fascinating read :D. Oh and yes, I love Atreyu too ^^
