Blue Herons stifle the Stampeders and hold for win.

The game started fairly quiet as teams had their attempts, before at the 6th minute, the Blue Herons broke the ice as Eddie Holmgren scored and put the Herons up 1-0. Omaha would kill a penalty off later in the period, but the score would hold till the horn.

In the second, a slew of penalties by the Stampeders would lead to biting them, as Blue Heron's forward Augustine Jelen would score on the powerplay and would lead the Herons to be up 2-0 at the start of the third.

In the third, Stampeders Rookie Greenwood Hunter would put Omaha on the board, but that is all they would muster as Herons Goalie Rowan Dekathrine stayed strong, and with goals by Zyle Vaughn and Talcott, the Herons would close it out with a 4-1 Win.
