Special teams woes and player injuries down Saskatoon as Portland rolls

The first started mostly quiet. Prairie Dog Featured player of the night Backdraft Wolf would be called for an early penalty, but Saskatoon would safely kill it off, and the two teams would make the half way mark with the score still knotted at 0. That would hold until the 15th minute mark, as Puma's Forward Charisa would break the tie, off a one timer fed by Bluefire. The score would hold through the end of the period, but not without incident. At the 18th minute mark, a lost skate edge would send Backdraft slamming into the boards akwardly, and would remain on the ice in pain. The Medical team would come out and request the stretcher, to which Backdraft was helped off the ice. Injury reports a upper body injury, with a likely hood of missing 2 Game Nights.

In the second, the Pumas would pounce on poor penalty taking by the Priaire Dogs Defencemen Swampertlover and Klozowski as the Pumas would score 2 on their powerplays, one by Charisa and the other by Bluefire, and a score early in the frame by Swingcapita would put them up by 4 at the end of the second.

In the third, the Prairie Dogs would attempt a comeback as they would score a PPG of their own by Lance Foxy and then have a second go in by Kody Rowan. Unfortnently as time was closing, Rowan committed a penalty of his own, and a final PPG by Charisa would complete her Hat-Trick on the night and be the nail in the coffin as the Pumas win 5-2.
