Hello to All GMs, Commissioners, Players and Fans of the FHL! It is time for Game of the Week #3, featuring the Omaha Stampeders visiting the Baltimore Blue Herons.

For both teams it has been a powerful rise to the top in comparison to last year. For the Omaha Stampeders who ended last season a point ahead of last place in the western conference, a surge power offence at the start of the year lead them to an early string of wins. This run has helped placed them up top of the Rocky Mountain Conference, 4 points shy of the St. Louis Spirits, and thus hold an early second spot in the Western Conference.

For the Baltimore Blue Herons, it has been a tough right to the top. Much like last year, the Blue Herons have played close, with all but two games they have played having been determined by one or two goals. Unlike last year's dismal results however, the Herons have been largely on the right side of thoes decisions including 3 overtime wins, as the team has be able to generate enough offence to win with Goalie Rowan Dekathine keeping the goals low in net. These wins have helped to keep Baltimore afloat and sit 2 points ahead of Jacksonville for the Atlantic Division Lead.

Now, as the two teams battle it out to keep on top, Omaha has come to town for what is a inter-conference battle of division titans. Who shall come out of it on top and hold their division lead strong, and who will fall and possibly fall back into the grasp of the teams behind them?
