It's been a few years since I did a serious 3D project - decided to do one and have been working on it non-stop for the past 3 days, lol.
So.. here are some WIP shots - it's all animated up and ready to render, bar a few small things (teeth + gum textures, fur tweaking etc).
Super keen! I'm not keen to render tho, lol. My GPU is coming up 5 yrs old now so I need to be kind to it til I can get a new one. I'll try and put a link up to the vid here when it's done / YT'd.
These are just viewport renders cos 'real' rendering takes ages, for some reason. Even though it turns out the same.
Done in Blender and rendered w/ Cycles.
Just wanna say I'm super impressed with how far blender's come. I hate, hate, HATE the internal renderer and that's what stopped me using it for so long. Cycles is a gift, esp with the principled shader!
Also, next project: Wolves. I've had a bit of a love/hate thing going on with 3D wolves but I'm gonna get one done, and it's going to actually look good this time.

There is actually a tail there lol it's just small and hidden under the fur. I did think about it earlier though, but it's too late to change that :)

Not bad, not bad. By the way, it's a little-known fact that bears have tails. It's very little, but it's there. Don't feel bad, though. Even Disney has missed this important detail! =P
