Remember how Itsuki was supposed to meet Sol, but then his story ended before he actually got to that part? Well, what if that part of the story were to be told anyway? Here's how the meeting between Itsuki and Sol went!

Fish Scales is a story about the life of a Yoshi, named Itsuki. The story begins on the night of the strange and sudden appearance of another Yoshi in the jungle on Marshgreen Island. From there, the first few chapters jump through time to show various major events in Itsuki’s life growing up. After that, the story takes place in the present time, with chapters releasing sporadically in the flow with other stories. While there is no overarching story arc that covers the entirety of the story, there are occasional larger arcs that take multiple chapters, and the story focuses on Itsuki’s growth in dealing with the events of his past on Marshgreen Island.
