The original design sheet for Second the red (well, pink and purple) panda! You can see there were some changes to the design over the course of creating the suit - the number of piercings went down (from nips, labret and ear to just ear), the suit was made plantigrade instead of digitigrade (because oops, red pandas aren't actually digitigrade), and the color scheme was changed slightly. Midori also had the brilliant idea of using glitter fur for a large portion of the suit. The tail ended up being 8' long instead of 7', which is an improvement if you ask me!

This was a great project to work on. Rooyena didn't know what the suit was, only that one was being made, and didn't actually find out what it was until she had the suit on and looked in the mirror! (We used a blindfold, then had her close her eyes as we put on the head.) Overall it was a great experience! There's few things i like better than doing fursuit design; seeing my art come to life is a real rush and thrill.
