Dave Garcia is best known for his art on "The Tick" comic, but I'd always enjoyed his earlier series "Panda Khan". So encountering Mr. Garcia in Artist's Alley at San Diego Comic Con in 2003 was a great thing... and he could not have been nicer about inking his titular grumpy ursid in mere nanoseconds with a Sharpie.
