I decided for shits and giggles to ask people at tumblr to suggest some fanart aliens to practice my style on. Originally I ask for 5 but I got 7 so I decided to draw 3 random choices to go with it to make it 10 aliens in all. Artist note time!

Ewok

-Just drew a random one since no character in particular was noted. Pretty fun to do.

Furon

-God its been a million years since I did any Destroy All Human fanart. Great fun drawing Crypto again. I couldn’t find any consistent references for his weapon so I kinda just made up my own.

Gungan

-Decided to actually draw Jar Jar Binks for humor reasons xP I decided personally to add Garrus in there because it worked here. I will note though that Garrus’s love is imo garnered well whereas I think Jar Jar is hated a lot more then he honestly deserves. Poor guy :c

Xenomorph

-Finding a good reference where you can see all the detail of a xenomorph is incredibly difficult x-x I think I got it pretty accurate though. Probably the pic I had the most fun stylizing.

Stitch

-A non suggestion alien I decided to add because like with Destroy all Humans its been a million years since I drew fanart of the guy. I’m quite satisfied with this fella’s pose.

Khyber

-One of the characters people suggested I literally no nothing about. I did discover though that my style is incredibly similar to that in Ben 10 considering I barely had to adjust this guy’s design to fit in with the rest of the work seen here. Honestly I approve considering besides the humans all the aliens in Ben 10 are more inspired by western comic books (the humans tend to have anime influence for whatever reason).

E.T.?

-Does this Alien even have an official name? Anyway another non suggestion I decided to do only because I was incredibly curious what E.T. would look like in my style. He’s actually a lot less terrifying imo this way.

Ithorian

-Definitely one of the most… well alien like aliens that people suggested. Just drew a random individual since I don’t follow the Star Wars franchise close enough to know any actual characters of this species. quite fun to draw.

Miss Martian’s True form

-Oh Gawd, this one was considerably worse then the Xenomorph to find good references especially considering I decided for whatever fucked up reason I wanted to draw her a back side angle when there was basically no references I could find of her from the side and most from the back were only of her head. Oh well, I think she came out rather well all the same. Another character I know not much about though unlike Khyber I’m kinda a bit more interested in learning just because of how UTTERLY EPIC this character’s true form looks.
