Fetlin Species Information

~Fetlins are a sub species of dragon.
~They are a traveling species, able to fly for days with the use of their two sets of wings. They are powerful flyers, but much prefer to glide as not to needlessly use the energy. They are naturals when it comes to picking up the winds currents to keep their glides up. Fetlins have been known to fly for weeks without touching solid ground.
~While they have the ability to move their four wings independently from one another, Fetlins need to flap all four at the same time to fly properly.
~As they are known for traveling far and wide, they often take up occupations as traders, merchants, or even adventurers if you can keep their feet on the ground long enough.
~Because of their many travels they are often well learned, or at the very least know a lot of stories from all over. Despite their rather strange appearance, a Fetlin who is well traveled is usually wiser than it lets on.
~Typically, a Fetlin has a positive, happy, and surprisingly uplifting personality capable of cheering up people just by being near. They love jokes, and they love to laugh above all else.
~When they do land to start a family, they usually den on tall mountains.
~Males of the species are known for their long horns and thick manes.
~Females are known for their lack of mane and more elaborate horns.
~Females, besides the ones on their chest, also have hidden mammaries on their underbellies.
~Fetlins lay eggs in clutches of three to five.
~Hatchling Fetlins nurse off their mothers milk for about three months.
