This one was challenging. Unlike Jim who had a history and personality attributed to him, Cypher's character had no history to explain why he was the way he was so capturing his essence was often times a practice of futility but I wound up loving the challenge~ :)

These really great studies. I like that you took the time to write notes about various personalities and traits. I also love the facial expressions. From what I can see it does look like the noses on the humans stylistically are a bit on the long side, but it's minor since giving facial flaws help with personality.

I agree giving facial variance helps give a sort of personality to the character. To examine a sketch page I did not long ago imagine if Jim Hawkins nose wasn't as far down on his face. He would either have a more prominent chin or a wider looking face. The possibilities are endless, and would essentially take away from his persona~ :A
