We have to do a design pack for a character and so I decided it would be a fun time to practice more humanoid faces as I suck absolute shitttt at them.
I will probably be redesigning her head, but I am behind in some classes so there is a lot less caring going on with character design class, haha.

Nice design, the outfit is very eye-catching. Her markings are well placed. I would recommend working on giving them a little moer curve to follow the body contours and make it really pop.

I totally agree with you and thank you for the awesome critique! This picture was hard for me to do since it was on my laptop and my laptop screen is a pile of poop. When I put it on my real computer I made a horrified noise, haha. If I ever paint her again (not speed-painting like this one) I will definitely take what you said and apply it!

I do so hate working on a screen that doesn't match others @.@ I tend to have screens that have a higher level of detail (and brightness) than any other computer I view my stuff on. Makes for some messy things in dark tones...
And you're welcome! It's a critique I'd end up getting a lot for myself and it really makes so much difference.

Lol I'd honestly love to see how you'd handle drawing a human character just from seeing this and a few other of your works Essence :3. But yeah snazzy looking Drell lady by the way loving the outfit on her looks pretty damn cool in my opinion, oh and WHERE ARE TEH BEWBS? :C.
