I'm pleased that once again I've been able to participate in the Werewolf Calendar! My piece is for September of 2013, so I choose a nice fall theme. This piece is a bit of an homage to the area I grew up in the rocky mountains of Colorado, with lovely bright aspen groves in the fall. I had to include my favorite flower as well, the Indian Paintbrush. When the landscape is mostly dark greens and browns, it's so neat to come across one of these striking bright red flowers in the woods. These werewolves, from different packs in the same area, are sealing their bond as mates in a quiet ceremony in the seclusion of the aspen grove.

Ahhh that beautiful autumn forest! Those trees are outstanding. The werewolves are so cute and fluffy, and the warm light cast on the whole image is amazing.
