6 hour long painting for DrakonicKnight, of her thylacine dragon character! Loved working with this character again, but getting the chance to do a full body image.
I always think it's really cool when someone can do wings perspectively like that. I've ALWAY had trouble with it. I just have to force my brain to stop trying to look at the full wing. Awesome work and Very cool character!!
It's tough, it's an odd balance between thinking of them as large flap/airfoil shapes, and an individual arm. Maybe this sounds weird, but I reference bird wings for bat wing positions, then extrapolate the bat wing anatomy backwards from the over all shape I got form the bird wing, haha!
