Having lived the first 14 years of my life as a dracoon girl, I suddenly find myself transformed into a Nidoran-dragon♀. And so begins the rest of my life. (At least in this AU.)

Worked on this post-transformation pic on & off for the past month. It's only my second art project after a lengthy hiatus from drawing. Probably wasn't the best idea to do a 6-panel sequence this soon. I actually had some other Nido ideas, but I decided that my first Nido pic should be those initial moments after becoming one. As for the trigger, I decided to leave that up in the air. It's fun to imagine different scenarios, and I don't want to tie myself to any specific one. It was also important to show my discarded clothing, as I take my first steps as an animal.

The third and fifth panels took a bit of practice. I wanted to make sure I properly conveyed what was happening. I mean, paws take some getting used to. It's not the same as walking on your hands. That said, once you get it down, it's pretty amazing just how natural it feels. The final pose was ironically the most difficult, just figuring out the anatomy. And also trying not to make my smile too big.

I think the fifth panel is my favorite. ^_^
