This is a colored version of [the first pig art I ever got].

I love being a pig. But I'd been struggling to figure out my exact colors. For a while, I was trying to use my [Second Life avatar] as a reference. But trying to take a 3D avatar and turn it into flat colors is really difficult. The colors seemed too dark, so I'd lighten them. But then they'd be too light. I'd be too red, or wind up a sickly yellow. Or my fur would look more like skin.

Finally, I decided to go back to that first pig art. Even greyscaled, something about it felt right. I just needed to translate that "feeling" into color. And oh my goodness, that was so much easier! At last, I can say that these are my colors! ♥
