The Pirates Of Port Talbot

Equium

This was a request for my good friend SayreFoxx, who wanted a "pirate theme" for his character. I did what I could and this little piece emerged from the seas, complete with it's own little back story.

The main theme is the fanfaric intro of The Jolly Possum, the battleship of Pirate Sayre, with the melody shortly after (0:28) defined to describe a short journey through calm waters, until they see another ship, a goods ship (The S.S. Eucalyptus - 1:01). At 1:04 - the quiet, English horn theme shows even calmer waters and an air of serenity around the SS Eucalyptus, quietly doing their trade. The Jolly Possum edges into Eucalyptus waters and Sayre boards the ship (1:44). With swords and blades aswashed, they take the goods across to their ship At 2:16 - Sayre and his gang take the final goods and damage the ship on their exit, ensuring it is out of use for future journeys and they have control over the trade, and finally, at 3:00 - The Jolly Possum theme plays again, rich with trade and goods, they set sail for their next victims.

I love how this turned out, Sayre likes it, and hopefully you will too!

Consists of a whole host of orchestra delights - Violins, Violas, Cellos, Pizzicato Strings, Trumpets, Tubas, Trombones, French Horns, Flutes, English Horn, Piano, Timpani, Drums, Triangle and Cymbals.
