“You’re going to leave a mark,” Louis says.

Mike bites him.

“Oh, so you want to mark me up then?”

Assuming their privacy, he doesn’t bother to lower his voice.

“Do you want everyone to know about us,” Louis says, not quite asking.

“No,” Mike answers. He bites Louis’ throat just to the right of the red mark. He sucks on that spot until it goes red as well, spots of blood appearing under the skin.

“Then what do you want?”

“I want everyone to know you’re fucking someone,” Mike says, not lifting his mouth from Louis’ neck. “You can tell them it’s me, if you want. But I don’t care. No one will know unless you say something, but they’ll all know that you’re with someone — and not them.”

“Jealous?” Louis asks, cupping his hand around the back of Mike’s head.

“Who should I be jealous of?” Mike asks, pulling away enough to look up at Louis. “This is boasting.”

Louis laughs and bends down enough to kiss Mike’s open mouth.
