paint-a-keets are very social birds, flying in huge packs across the land in search of water, food, and hiding spots.
their tails are like color pickers, they use it to mark their nests once its finished.
when grown up, their completely white, with black markings. the paint can stain terribly, so they use their tail to give them unique markings.
males tend to be the most colorful compared to females. and due to that, they're kept as pets and are used in contests.
