(Warning: things get somber in this post, so get some tissues ready)

May 14th, 2019. May 16th, 2019. Both of these days can count as the day my daddy died, as the accident that ended his life occurred on one day, and he was taken off of life support the other day. But being a witch, I can feel people's spirits, and his spirit was still inside of his body before he was taken off of life support. So I mark today as his official death day.

He had already been in the hospital for 2 months prior, during which time I gave him a sneaky questionnaire about what he would look like if he were a super-hero, and what powers he would have. I used the acquired information to create this picture--which represents how he always came to Mommy's rescue during her toughest times, even if it was just to give her some super-kisses--and thankfully, managed to show it to him days before he died. He loved it.

And now that I finally found a good, high-quality replacement scanner (we moved to a smaller place and the last one had to go in storage), I can share it with all of you.

I hope things are going well for you up there, Daddy--me and my family miss you every day and you will always be remembered as a hero, especially to your wife.
