I still think many of the "weird" bat species deserve more love. Like this fun fella--the banana bat, also known as the trumpet-nosed bat or the Colima long-nosed bat.

I LOOOOOOVE weird animals, especially bats! This one is so cute, but probably my favorite weird bat is the wrinkle-faced bat! Also it's not that weird, but my absolute favorite bat is the cuban flower bat! They have little piggie noses!

Glad to see some more batty love! They're super interesting critters, and its especially cool to learn how those weird meatfaces help them out.
Also holy moly I looked up that flower bat and it's precious. It really does have a piggy nose!
