Erika and Draygone are a pair of young dracoon twins (raccoon-dragons). They are living at an orphanage in Willowdale right now, as they were left there by their father years ago for reasons they are too young to understand. They never met their mother.

These two might look innocent, but don't be fooled -- they are still raccoon children, after all! They tend to get into mischief from time to time, often teasing each other for nonsensical reasons. It's not too hard to bring out their nicer side, though. A passing train will do that (they like watching trains). But if you are short on trains, just give them something fun to talk about. Or give them a video game to play. Either/or. Oh, but if you happen to be a skunk, you better watch out for these two -- if they see you, you WILL get hugged!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe I colored something! I haven't made a serious attempt at digital coloring since 2010! But since I'm wanting to get back into creating my own art, I decided some practice was in order. So I colored the lineart that we got from toddlergirl. She is the mastermind behind "Found", a surprisingly well-written webcomic centered around babyfurs. But back to this picture, I gotta thank all the people whose art streams I've joined. I've been paying close attention to how they color digitally, and even though I'm far from ready to try anything advanced like shading (just what I did here took me a few hours), I'd say my addiction to those streams has definately paid off. If only in that I know how to handle coloring inside the lines. =P

(Now I just need to learn color coordination.)

Also, I'm so glad that toddlergirl drew us like this. It used to be that when I want to show someone what our characters are, I was forced to use [this screenshotty reference] that were stuck with. I mean, I suppose I could show any of the awesome, super-duper, definately-appreciate-your-work pictures we've gotten from various artists, but I'd been wanting something to show who we are at our purest: no gimmicks, full-bodied, and in color. And with this, I can truly say that I have a picture with which I can say, "This is us." =)

What's funny is that, for the next month, we have a bet going on that involves me being a girl and us both being skunks. =P
