In August 2012, I made my triumphant return to the furry community, only to discover that I had been doppelganged by someone who used to be a rabbit. Didn't take us long to decide that our characters should be twins, and shortly after that, we age-regressed our characters as well. A year later, we celebrated our first 'Twin-Day'. To celebrate, we decided that we should commission some art from someone who is famous and/or really good. Hm, but what should be the theme and who should draw it?

One of the things that me and Erika like about being twins is that I'm a boy and she's a girl. But when it comes to little kids, that's not a detail you can really, well, detail. Any pantless characters must fall under the rule of "toon nudity", in which a character is drawn without bits. (My character uses that rule to his advantage. =P) And it got me thinking, what if you lived in a world where a person's gender can't be determined by the usual method, even if the answer was staring at you in the face? And that's how I got the idea for this.

The next thing to figure out was, who can draw a naked kid in such a way that it's still cartoonishly cute? The answer was Ribnose, who happens to be the sister of a certain webcomic artist whose comic I used to really enjoy. In fact, their art styles are pretty similar, which led to a slight case of mistaken identity. Whoops! =P Since this is about Ribnose's art, I won't say who her sister is, but you might be able to figure it out if you look through her gallery. (Hint: you should all check out Ribnose's art!)

I gave her details of what I wanted, and this picture is the result. I gotta say, her art style definately works for this idea. One little thing I particularly like is the locations that Erika and I are toweling off. Sorta draws attention to the main focal points behind this idea. (Erika adds: That, and Dray drying off his fuzzy behind adds to the cuteness. =3) And as strange as it sounds, drawing Erika drying off her hair is a feat that I can't help but bow down to.

Thanks for doing this for us, Ribnose! It was definately worth getting ahold of you! =)
