This is based on a true story.

Or rather, it's based on a journal entry that actually happened. After responding to the journal, I was inspired to create my own story. It's a little confusing reading a first-person story about a guy who's reading his own first-person story, but you gotta admit, it's creative.

I don't really write stories often. I come up with a lot of them, but writing them? Not so much. To me, writing a story has the same problem as drawing a picture: it's so dang time-consuming. So you won't see many of these from me.

Now then, a long time ago, I had someone complain that this essentially turned into a fan-fic. I guess, kinda? But you gotta remember, this story essentially takes place in the same world as ours, where pokemon are just made-up creatures. I don't know if that makes it less of a fan-fic, but when you think about it, becoming a fictional animal only worsens the situation. Or makes it better. Depends on your point of view.

Besides, this story was made up on the spot. And growlithes are my favorite pokemon. ^_^
