Every year, there comes a point that I want to make an attempt at drawing, again. And so I do, only to become frustrated at my lack of skill, and how long it takes to create a picture of such low quality (in this case, over four hours).

Oh, don't get me wrong, this ain't THAT bad. But I had a reference: I had Dray sit on an identical bench in Second Life (including that blanket), and pretty much drew this picture like you would draw a live model in an art class. I was also thinking of including the scenery around him, but by the time I finished the linework of him and the bench, I was wanting to hurry and finish this, so I quickly drew up the patch of grass underneath.

So at this point, I'll either make one more attempt at getting back into drawing, or you won't see anything else from me until next year. Yeah, I'm sure I could get faster with practice (ideally, I'd like to be able to sketch up a picture like this in only one hour), but I have other stuff I like to do, and I'm never really willing to use up so much of my free time trying to get to that point.
