The Voremalump 1 began as a little spoof of rhyming Dr. Seuss books, as well as specifically American Lung Association's short film from 1970's Octopuff In Kumquat as seen on Red Letter Media, where a cartoon octopus tried to convince a town to smoke cigarettes. I was like "what if a furry showed up and tried peddling vore instead?"
