So TL:DR like a lot of people, DNApalmhead was an enormous (pun fully intended) influence on me early on when I first joined the community. Particularly his comic Free Lunch. He vanished for a long while and one day I was feeling wistful and decided to commission my good friend Tali to draw this as a callback to arguably my favorite panel from the entire Free Lunch comic.
Imagine my absolute disbelief and shock that after being gone for like a decade less than a month after he finished this picture for me DNA suddenly came back, lol
