Now that bluesky's not under total lock and key and i've found some blogging alternatives, it's my hope you'll see a lot more "stream of conciousness" stuff from me this year. Can't make any promises but this for example? Only got the idea a day or so ago and had it pretty much completed by that afternoon.

I'm delighted to see that there are a few "palsona's" out there already, so I can't take credit for starting that. I may be able to take credit for this if it takes off though? Been waiting patiently since the reveals started, praying, hoping, pleading that we'd get a girafarig equivalent in palworld, and it does not seem to have blossomed. So after someone inadvertedly made me realize that a few of the pals pull heavily from beta pokemon... I picked up that golden gauntlet. >:3

Lotsa other references here too. The number is something I took from an old username that just happens to be high enough to work for this. The name and species, I mean I really, REALLY wanted it to be PALindrome, it's right there in the title... but this is more fitting if we get mystery dungeoned later. In fact if a lid ever gets put on IAM I might just restart it as a palworld comic. I could make it work from what I've seen so far. ^^

Only a first pass of this species, maybe I'll do this more polished later. Either way this definitely won't be the last palworld art I do, I can be certain of that.

(Update 20/01/2024) Next morning now, I woke up to almost immedeate palworld discourse. I'm trying to keep a level head about this before I wander into the immedeate firing line on social medias... So let me clarify a few things:

1: No I do NOT give them permission to use pushmi-palyu in palworld in any capacity.

2: Was a joke but also disregard that thing about moving IAM over to a palworld setting.

3: Their eula is worded in a really bad way and they better not try to use it to weasel out of anything later.

4: I'm not accusing the developers of theft or any of the scummy things like I'm seeing a lot of people doing. I'm just being cautious and covering my ass what little I can.

There's been a few accusations thrown around and I don't think they're things you can just handwave as easily as people on twitter would like you to believe. I need to see which way the wind blows there. Until then I'll keep this picture up.)
