This one isn't written in stone just yet, but after coming up with the Red suit design, I was almost immediately toying with the idea of wanting to give him a "costume" of his own. Something performance based so the hand-standing might actually make full sense for once.

"So I sent for a witch with a terrible twitch" and if you don't know the routine by now you never will... "What else could he be but a jester?!"

I wish I could say that was the full inspiration but not quite. At one point during a stream hunchback of notre dame and topsy turvy day came up, (which I swear is not the origin of my UD obsession despite all evidence to the contrary...) And the rest all sort of fell into place from there. So yeah, he'll probably stick around with this look, unless I find some horrible reason why we're not allowed to like jesters anymore after 2020. And maybe even then you can screw off jesters are cool.

Done in cel shading, seemingly just to prove to myself I still could. ^^
