Today's monster is a siren. Before starting I looked up stuff of the original depictions of sirens and was a little surprised to find they were actually bird ladies, not mermaids like they're often conflated to nowadays. The reason birds were worked into their appearances was because birds have beautiful voices.

Also, she doesn't have a lower half because it was an idea I had for harpies a while back and I couldn't resist using it again :P
