Bio: One of the few former halfling adventurers, a famed author, and Uncle to Fredrick. Willham was born into the respectable Talkins family in Heather Valley. He lived a pretty quiet life with not very much excitement apart from an occasional visit from Dalma, a mage who was a friend of his family. He always listened to Dalma’s tales whenever he visited. At some point during his late teens, Willham left his home in Heather Valley. It was never clear why, some saying that he went of his own free will while others say he was coerced by Dalma to go exploring. He had many an adventure in the realm of Asnorit, joining a party of adventurers, facing off against hordes of monsters, visiting exotic lands, and even becoming a guest and friend of royalty and nobles. As he went on his adventures, Willham documented his exploits in several personal journals. Twenty years after leaving, Willham returned to Heather Valley with several filled up journals and an enormous amount of wealth he’d accumulated upon his travels. He used his wealth to make himself a fairly extravagant home, most of his neighbors believing the home was gaudy. Willham also reformatted some of his journals into a book series and sold them, making a nice profit and the series became very popular throughout Ranell and beyond. At some point after his return to Heather Valley, his sister perished and he took in his nephew Fredrick. Growing up on Willham’s tales, Fredrick idolized his uncle and his allies and wanted to become an adventurer just like them. They both lived peacefully in Heather Valley until Willham was starting to become bored with his mundane life and wanted some excitement. He began using a magic ring he collected from his adventures that made the wearer invisible to pull little pranks on the people of Heather Valley but mostly used the ring to swipe women’s underwear and peep local girls. The villagers believed these antics where the work of a spirit until Willham was revealed by Cyril and Co. along with a band of the Umbaren Army/Ravutha’s Horde/Contrina’s Horde. Willham payed a fine for his crimes and worked in the fields as community service. When Fredrick left with Cyril’s Party, Willham gave him his blessing and a few items from his own journeys.

Here's a look at another supporting character, Willham Talkins. He and his Nephew Fredrick are in fact modeled after Bilbo and Frodo Baggins albeit with some alternate aspects. If you look at Fred, you'll notice that he does want to go on adventures like his uncle but wants to become something of a knight or paladin, some warrior of honor that is drastically different from what most halflings are like. Willham, here is kind of like if you blended Bilbo Baggins with Happosai from Ranma 1/2. There's more to it than that but I don't want to get more long winded than I already am. There will probably be an update to this pic later on with a few items he possesses, one of which being particularly important to a future chapter. Please Enjoy.
