I started this image when I was experiencing a lot of pain and stiffness in my hands. That's nothing new, I hurt all over as a matter of course. But it's troubling nonetheless to find my hands not cooperating. I worry every time that this time it won't go away.

The first time I did this image, it didn't work terribly well -partly because my hands are dumb when they hurt. I redid it once they didn't, because I liked it too much to leave it half done forever.
